InvestTrack Cookie Policy

Version: March 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies InvestTrack uses, and how you can control them. It has been drafted in accordance with Section 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet), which implements Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.

This policy forms part of, and should be read together with, the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use. Questions? Contact us at hello@investtrack.net.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are used to operate core functionality, remember your preferences, and — where you have consented — to understand how the platform is used. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage.

Cookies are categorised as strictly necessary (no consent required under the Telecommunicatiewet) or non-essential (prior consent required). InvestTrack currently places only strictly necessary cookies.

2. Cookies We Use

Strictly NecessaryAlways active — no consent required
sb-[ref]-auth-tokenSupabase authentication token. HTTP-only, Secure, SameSite=Strict. Required to keep you logged in and authorise API calls. Without this cookie the service cannot function.Session / up to 7 days

Analytics & PerformanceRequires consent — not currently used
(none currently)InvestTrack does not currently place analytics cookies. Any usage statistics are derived solely from server-side logs (Vercel) using anonymised, aggregated data. No analytics cookies are placed on your device.
Preference / FunctionalStored in your account, not as cookies
(none)Display preferences such as theme, currency, timezone, and date format are stored in your account profile in the database — not as browser cookies. They are therefore available across all your devices.
Advertising & MarketingNot used
(none)InvestTrack does not use advertising, targeting, retargeting, or social media tracking cookies. No data is shared with advertising networks or data brokers.

Because InvestTrack currently places only strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is required under Section 11.7a of the Telecommunicatiewet. Should we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and obtain your prior consent before placing any such cookies.

3. Third-Party Scripts

InvestTrack does not currently load any third-party scripts that set cookies on your device. Should we integrate payment or other third-party services in the future, this section will be updated accordingly.

4. Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies at the browser level at any time. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies — in particular the Supabase authentication token — will prevent you from logging in and using the Platform.

5. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to amend this Cookie Policy. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address associated with your account and by a notification in the application at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The most recent version is always available at www.investtrack.net/cookies.

6. Complaints

If you have a complaint about our use of cookies, please contact us at hello@investtrack.net. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority:
